Manufactured Housing

ProSight Specialty Insurance focuses on delivering coverage in highly specialized verticals where most insurance companies don't have the expertise to offer world-class service. In partnership with Propel Insurance, ProSight provides coverage for manufactured housing communities. Over the last decade, Propel's manufactured housing program has covered more than 2,000 such communities, and now ProSight exclusively offers Propel’s unique products as one of ProSight's niche programs.

Protecting Against Risk

Manufactured housing communities face unique challenges that other residential properties do not - and as a result, most insurers don't offer the right kinds of coverages to meet their specific needs. Two of the core ways that the ProSight/Propel package helps owners of upscale manufactured housing communities (not including campgrounds or temporary trailer parks) are:

  1. Documented Inspections - gives property owners the documentation they need to fight fraudulent claims, such as slip-and-falls.
  2. Risk Transfer through Certificates of Insurance – allows communities to obtain properly executed insurance certificates from contractors doing work in their communities that puts the onus on the contractors' insurers.
